Ocean Isle Beach Trip 2002
Kathryn and I had the priviledge of being invited to spend the weekend at "The Medley Shack" with several other couples. Unfortunately, the reports of a butler and french maid were unfounded, though they were not far off the mark. The weather was not ideal that weekend, but nevertheless, good times were had for all. The highlight of the weekend was when the "Gabby Girls" were trounced by the "Bright Boys" in the usually intense game Trivial Pursuit. Many facts that the rest of us did not know came to light whenever the "Gabby Girls" debated an answer. Some examples were, China is the world's largest democracy, and Prince's version of "Purple Haze" showed us all the value of a UNC education. The big surprise of the weekend came when I caught my first Redfish on frozen shrimp, and there was some mention of my wife being pregnant.

After my golfing stint at The Masters, these sorry looking hopefuls gathered around to pick up any tips. There was some other stories of slight interest such as Dale "Gribble" sinking the only birdie of the day, and Sam "Def Leppard" colapse on 18. However it was my Masters level of play the carried my partners through the game of Wolf.
