Wayne Grough Gets Married!
Charles
Richard Wayne Grough Wagoner was married to Julie "Juls" Rainey at a beautiful
ceremony on May 11th 2002. The happy couple were rumored to be heading to Asheville
for a brief honeymoon and a longer one was on the books in September. The wedding
festivities the night before were all that could ever be expected from Chuck and
Co. There were wild turkeys (that did not like "worms"), toasts and roasts, golf
carts and reportedly there was even a fire-extinguisher, though this seems to
be an unfounded rumor. This reporter tried to interview the groom but he was too
busy hogging the microphone or eating some of the many vegetables that were offered
at the rehearsal dinner.
The wedding party was rampant with famous people,
and even some Chinese Nationalist were in attendance. One of the stars that blessed
our presence were George "Camel" Revington, and Trey
"Spring Break" Anderson. These two single studs spent the evening
reminiscing about their childhood with Charles and chasing women. Unfortunately
there were no appropriate stories that this gumshoe could report on, however the
"BB gun and the Walls" seemed to be mentioned several times between the two old
friends. Needless to say both went home still single.
This reporter did have
a grand opportunity to interview the Chinese Nationalist, Grant Dong and Clara
Long. The questions on everyone's mind was answered by Grant with this answer
"yes, we do eat a lot of Chinese food." And "No, we are not engaged yet, we are
struggling with her name situation, Clara Long Dong". There were many other friends
of days gone by in attendance as well. Absent from the group were notables such
as Noel and Old Caesar, as well as Ed "old hairy ears" Dickerson.
Sorry there
aren't more photographs, this reporter forgot to charge his camera.
