Wrightsville Beach '02

A wonderful, but cloudy and rainy, beach week was had by the Jones family at Wrightsville beach. The events of the week included a tour of the Battleship North Carolina, walks on the beach, movies, card games that were dominated by myself and every once in a while by Dad and fine dining. The food was execellant the entire week, especially when I cooked a wonderful dinner. The high point of the week was getting to use "Deddy" Fields's boat "Chaos". Dad and I had a fishing tournament that left Dad paying for dinner. Kathryn showed Cletus the Fetus what catching a fish felt like when she reeled in a flounder. Mom and I stayed up watching the greatest movie in the world "Trading Places". Laurie was there in the earlier part of the week, along with Betsy Forman, Daniel Foreman's sister. Laurie was greatly missed after she left to take a bus load of kids to Frontier Ranch, a Young Life camp.
