This past summer the Jones's family, aka "The Griswolds" took fun filled trip in the family truckster (with optional rally fun pack ) down to the Grand Strand of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Ocean Isle, North Carolina. Our wonderful daughter Lauren "The Bugs" Jones got to play in the ocean the for the first time. I got to fish around alligators for the first time in the regal "Motor Yacht" owned by Fletcher "Topwater" Edens. We also met another little Wolfpacker, Read Edens, though he looks a little ethnic, we are quite sure that he is actually Fletcher's kid because he is pretty short. Westin and Kristy as always were a highlight that keeps us coming back. We stayed not only with my parents, but with Allison and Andrew Medley, though great with child, took us on a grand boat tour to "nudist island". Unfortunately, we have NO photo documentation of actually staying with Allison and Andrew but we did stay in their fantastic beach abode. I got to go fishing, while Andrew spent his time rescuing his dog from, hold your breath, THE WATER! Marcus and Suzie joined us, Marcus stuck a few big ones, as the pictures tell the tale. It was a great summer vacation that was enjoyed by everyone accept my parents who kept losing to Kathryn and I inTrivial Pursuits, Taboo and Botche Balls. Mom did a great job attempting to get dinner served before 10:00 while Dad did an excellent job at trying to be a good sport about losing to his son and daughter-in-law. I guess we should cut them both some slack for being Grandparents.
